The #5 Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball team (15-2, 6-0 ACC) will host the #8 Maryland Terrapins (18-1, 5-1) on Sunday in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke has gone three days without playing a game, after playing three contests in six days.
The Blue Devils are riding a nine-game winning streak since falling at 10th-ranked Kentucky on Dec. 8 and are currently on a 33-game winning streak in Cameron Indoor Stadium in addition to holding a 25-game winning streak versus ACC opponents in Cameron.
Jackson, Williams Lead No. 5 Duke Past Georgia Tech, 79-62
Freshman Elizabeth Williams notched a double-double and sophomore Richa Jackson scored 17 points to lead fifth-ranked Duke to a 79-62 victory at Georgia Tech last Wednesday in Duluth, Ga.
Williams totaled her fourth double-double of the year with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while blocking five shots.
Duke won its 34th straight game against Georgia Tech and improved to 15-2 overall and 6-0 in league action.
