What the view will look like once NHL training camps start - Peter Koutroumpis, PKS Consulting LLC |

Wow!
What a morning Saturday has brought with the upcoming and highly anticipated
Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) matchup in men's basketball as the #20 NC State Wolfpack hosts the #1 Duke Blue Devils at PNC Arena in Raleigh at Noon.
Tweets have been flying from Raleigh all morning in anticipation of this one.
In the meantime, the
National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) has completed its vote as of 8 a.m. to ratify the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that the
NHL owners unanimously ratified earlier in the week.
With a vote ratifying the CBA from the NHLPA, all that is required for a new NHL season to begin is for a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed by both parties.
All this is expected to take place sometime Saturday.
Once that happens, the league will release the much anticipated playing schedule and training camps around the league will begin as early as Sunday - including in Raleigh.
In the meantime, PNC Arena is ready to host the grudge match between the ACC's preseason #1 and the current #1 in NCAA men's college basketball.
Have a great Saturday!
