The 2012-2013 college football season is underway.
Though the NC State Wolfpack lost to the Tennessee Volunteers 35-21 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game held in Atlanta on Friday, both the North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils came up with impressive wins at home the next day.
The Tar Heels' 62-0 shutout of the Elon Phoenix and the Blue Devils' assertive 46-26 win over FIU gave both teams' fans plenty to be happy about after opening weekend.

All three teams hit the road for game two on Saturday.
The NC State travels to the Northeast to take on the Connecticut Huskies while Duke heads West to face the Stanford Cardinal.
North Carolina doesn't earn any frequent flyer points and travels in-state to face ACC foe, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, in Winston-Salem.
